Soffit and Fascia
The soffit and fascia are not particularly exciting, but it is another step to making the outside of the house look like a finished house. The soffit and fascia that we are using is made out of aluminum, powder coated in the factory so that it requires no maintenance in the future.
The one thing that caused me to raise my eyebrows during the soffit and fascia installation was that the contractor popped off a number of rocks on the house in order to be able to install the soffit. Apparently, the mason had put his rocks a bit too far up the wall in several places, and so there really was no choice. Pop the rocks off, and then call the mason back to put them back on. We'll see how that goes.
