HVAC Finish
The HVAC finish work was not terribly interesting as by far nearly all of the HVAC work is done during the rough in stage.
The crew came and installed the thermostats, placed the registers and made a few final adjustments and tests to make sure that everything was running properly. They also completed the hookup of the fireplace and got it running.
We had a small furnace unit placed in the garage that was also set, hooked up and installed at the same time. Although adding the furnace in the garage cost about $1400, I am glad we did it. It is one of those things that is nearly impossible to retrofit into a house after it is build (due to the gas line and venting that must be installed), but really makes the garage useable in the cold winter months.
